Hi Parents,

If you weren’t able to make it to Jump Start on Sunday—or decided to do this experience at home—we’re so glad you’re taking the time to walk through this important conversation with your child.

Over the past few weeks, we've been learning about four key fundamentals of the Christian faith using John 3:16 as our guide:
God loved. God gave. We believe. We receive.

Jump Start is designed to help kids understand these big truths and give them the chance to respond—whether that's making a first-time decision to follow Jesus, recommitting their faith, or simply asking more questions.

You can watch the Jump Start video and download the simple discussion guide below to help you talk through the message with your child. The goal is to create an open, honest, and pressure-free space where they can share what they're thinking and feeling.

The guide includes helpful prompts and a prayer you can say together if you feel it’s the right time. Your child may not be ready to make a decision—and that’s completely okay. The most important thing is that you’re having this conversation together.

If your child does express a desire to make a first-time decision or has more questions, we’d love to support you. Please feel free to reach out your Sunday School team. They will be happy to connect with you and help guide the next steps.
